Description
Making moral decisions and settling ethical differences are two major and intertwined challenges of personal and professional life. In this book the author argues that adopting the moral perspective implies arriving at good decisions and dealing sensibly with disagreement through moral reasoning. He rejects moral subjectivism and shows how it is possible to provide and discuss reasons for ethical decisions by reference to moral goods and principles without lapsing into moral legalism.
Vilhjálmur Árnason is a professor of philosophy at the University of Iceland.
